- Lack of quality affordable rental homes
- Lack of support for homeownership
Thirteen recommendations offer specific tools to encourage housing in Athens, focusing on:
- Identifying ongoing local public funding
- Building and preserving quality affordable rental homes
- Expanding access to homeownership and protecting existing homeowners.
The summit highlighted efforts stemming from the Affordable Housing Investment Strategy and provided a platform to discuss the obstacles our community continues to face in achieving housing for everyone.
